HLC can offer a full range of crates and cases, ranging from “one off” bespoke products to larger volume export cases and vegetable boxes. We can also offer a full design and build service.
Crates and cases can be produced from a range of appropriate materials including Plywood, SmartPly (OSB), Scandinavian Softwood and 1st Grade Home Grown Softwood. HLC have full facilities to enable us to produce with coach bolts and gang nail plates where necessary.
We can also offer heat treatment facilities for new crates and cases in order to comply with ISPM15 requirements.
We recently completed a second order of vegetable boxes some 10 years after manufacturing the Farmer’s initial batch. The customer congratulated us on the quality of our product, saying that they had lasted far longer than those previously bought from a competitor – hence the fact he hadn’t ordered any from us for 10 years! (A great compliment indeed).
