As part of our comprehensive service, HLC being a licensed waste carrier can offer a wood waste and scrap pallet collection service to our customer base.
In many instances (depending on location) we can offer a free of charge collection or at worst a nominal charge to cover the cost of the return trip of our vehicle.
Many of our customers who have supply agreements/contracts in place, also benefit from a “buy back” agreement with HLC, which enables us to credit the customer for any pallets that have a second hand value in the market place which offset’s the cost of purchasing new pallets and also provides a means of clearing the customers site of unusable pallets and wood waste that would otherwise cost to dispose of.
We can offer a full stock valuation report on a load by load basis or an a collective monthly basis, which provides the customer with a detailed record of all pallets collected and a valuation on those that have a resale value – this ties in with agreed buy back prices on our supply agreements.
Any pallets or wood waste that require scrapping are put through our wood waste reprocessing facility which converts the scrap into wood chip, which in turn provides a cheap environmentally friendly fuel for our kilns and also provides heat for our factories in the winter via our wood waste boiler plant.
HLC are the only UK pallet manufacturer that offer this all encompassing service and combined with our other services enables us to offer a complete one stop shop.
